Twenty years or so have passed since King Nebuchadnezzar's death. Daniel has been ignored and unused by recent Babylonian kings, until King Belshazzar has a wild drinking party as the armies of the Medes and Persians are surrounding the city. Mysterious handwriting appears on a wall and Daniel is once more called upon to provide its meaning.
